Everyone involved in the Samford Valley Steiner School Tuckshop has a real drive and passion for looking after our environment and we pride ourselves on constantly looking at new ways to improve and become more environmentally friendly. We work very closely with the school policies and uphold the same values. We strive to use no single-use plastic wherever possible and are constantly looking at ways to improve.

We are constantly researching and adapting to available ingredients and produce. We buy Australian owned, grown and made whenever possible.

We are very excited to announce our first meal that is completely plastic free; the fried rice is now our first meal that contains no plastic whatsoever and all by-products are completely recyclable and/or compostable.
